Domain name registered

For long time, I had an Idea to register some domain name for my needs. Yesterday it happened.

madyogi.info is the domain name and name.com is the service I used. I have to admit, that I am happy with the company. Small prices and all the features I needed. I have full control over my domain and I can edit all the entries myself. Surely, one have to know what one is doing if one want to use it, but if there is something one doesn’t know – most probably it is explained in human readable help.

So, the new adress of this blog is madyogi.info. When i get a good hoster, where i can cheaply run the blog, it will change to blog.madyogi.info, or maybe something like cave.madyogi.info. But that will have to wait a little…

Using wordpress.com for now

As things develop, I have understood, that I won’t be able to have my blog on my home server. I am afraid, that my DSL connection won’t be fast enough for a long run.

I created some entry on http://madyogi.wordpress.com, so the blog will be hosted here for some time, until I find a good host for a reasonable price.

I also made a redirect from my homeserver, so the old address is still responding…
